A Donald Ross design that has hosted four U.S. Opens (1920, 1931, 1957, 1979), two PGA Championships, and the Solheim Cup; the 1920 U.S. Open is remembered for being the first time professionals were welcomed into a host club's clubhouse. It is slated to host another U.S. Open in 2045.
