The state's most historic resort golf, opened in 1918 at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain. The East Course has hosted multiple USGA championships, including Jack Nicklaus's 1959 U.S. Amateur win and U.S. Women's Opens in 1995 and 2011, and is slated to host the U.S. Senior Open in 2031 and 2037.
